** Existing RRMT, Inc. 2008 Members

RRMT, Inc. will be mailing about renewal notices to all its 2008 members the week of November 3, 2008. The renewal notices will go out in batches according to last name. As of November 3, registration will open for RRMT, Inc.’s existing 2008 members wanting to renew for 2009. Existing members may renew their memberships at the park office or may mail their information in. Regardless, in order to expedite your renewal, (whether you will be renewing at the park office or via mail), you must use the renewal application that was sent to you. This renewal application already has your information on it as well as your member id which will help us when renewing your membership. Be sure to read your renewal packet carefully...we have a special renewal promotion going for existing 2008 members...RENEW on or by December 14 and earn a free ride (or two!). (Only valid for ADVENTURERS and LONE STAR EXCURSION member packages. Refer to your renewal packets for more information.)

Four Reminders For Current 2008 Members...

1. Please note that those members with current outstanding RRMT, Inc. account balances will not be able to renew their memberships until their accounts are settled with the park office. You will be notified in your renewal packet if you are one of these individuals. If you do have an outstanding balance and have any questions, please feel free to call or email us. We are happy to explain your account to you. **

2. Members' Membership Renewal Packets will be mailed to the address that RRMT, Inc. has on file for that member. If you have recently moved and not notified RRMT, Inc. of your new address, you may be in danger of not receiving your packet. It is your responsibility to notify RRMT, Inc. of any changes with your account. If this issue is applicable to you...please send us your new mailing address in an email as soon as possible to ensure that your membership renewal packet gets mailed to your new correct address. **

3. If you are a current 2008 member and are wanting to renew your membership as well as add another family member...please do so on your renewal application. You may go ahead and join your new family member with your renewal. However, since that individual is a new member, his/her membership will technically not be effective until December 6, 2008, which is the same day that new memberships go on sale for non-members. However, as a convenience to members, we are accepting any new members that you are wanting to add to your account and will go ahead and process those new individuals with your account even though their memberships will not be effective immediately.**

4. Have questions about joining/renewing your children (age 10-17) as Rangers or Adventurers (age 18 and over) for the 2009 Membership Year? Let us help clarify your questions. Your membership benefits will start immediately (in December 2008 on the day you sign up) and will not expire until December 31, 2009. That’s the perfect holiday gift of the season! ** Please note that the park will be closed November 3-9, 2008 due to two races at our facility. Those existing members wishing to renew during this period, must renew via mail as we will NOT be accepting renewal memberships at the park during this time even if you will be attending the ENDURO or ATV RACE. Otherwise we will be back open the weekend of November 15 & 16, 2008 when you can renew in person at the park office. Existing members may always just mail in their renewals to us at anytime. If you mail it in, please be care of where you mail it. Our physical address and mailing address are NOT the same!

Still Not Convinced A 2009 Membership Is For You?

Still not convinced that you want to renew your existing membership (current 2008 member) or purchase a new membership (non-member)...then wait! When the 2009 memberships go on sale...they will be for sale at full price. You'll have to wait until July 1, 2009 for the 2009 memberships to become pro-rated again, but if that fits your riding needs and budget...that's great. Please note that if you are existing member and don't renew before you ride for the 1st time in 2009 or by January 15, 2009...then your member benefits/account become inactive until you renew again.


Visitor Camping Notice * October 20, 2008 --While RRMT, Inc. still welcomes visitors on weekends (Saturday and Sundays)...due to recent visitor camping problems, RRMT, Inc. will begin (effective Saturday, October 25, 2008) charging visitors (that will be camping) upfront on Saturday for Saturday day admission, Saturday overnight camping, and Sunday day admission. A refund will be given to visitors for Sunday day admission if they exit park by 10 a.m. and return visitor weekend pass to park office upon exiting park. This new policy is only valid for visitors camping Saturday night. (This new policy will not affect Saturday day only visitors.) Furthermore, members and their guests will still be able to pay daily and not in advance.


New Motorcycle Gate – Bill’s Woods Property Entrance
Bill’s Woods & New Property Now “DirtBike” Only Riding Areas * September 30, 2008 --Per RRMT, Inc.’s original January 17, 2008 park news excerpt concerning this matter...For those of you patiently waiting on a remedy to the problem of ATVs and various other recreational vehicles getting into Bill’s Woods and the newly acquired property...the wait is over. As of a couple of weekends ago...problem solved! A big thank you goes out to RRMT, Inc. Member Charlie Cosper who graciously devoted his time to constructing a motorcycle gate. Furthermore, an additional big thank you to various Red River Dirt Rider Members who donated their time installing the new motorcycle gate at the entrance of Bill’s Woods. Now with the new motorcycle gate in place, the gate has been locked up as the Red River Dirt Riders are now hard at work laying trail in these two areas for their upcoming ENDURO, November 9, 2008. It’s never too early to start thinking about signing up for the RRDR’s upcoming ENDURO so you can test your skills, particularly in these technical wooded areas. After the ENDURO, then RRMT, Inc. will let the public know on various weekends when it will open Bill’s Woods & the new property to motorcycle only riding.


Red Bull LMS 2008 Update * September 10, 2008 - In recent months, RRMT, Inc. has been incredibly overwhelmed with inquiries regarding this year's RED BULL LMS. Until now, we had no information for individuals desiring information regarding this event.

Photo Contest Deadline Extended until October 1, 2008! * September 3, 2008 - As a courtesy to all the patrons of RRMT, Inc....the deadline for RRMT, Inc.'s Photo Contest has now been extended to October 1, 2008! So there are no excuses now...plan on enjoying some fall riding in September at RRMT, Inc. & then get your photos submitted to RRMT, Inc.!


Burn Ban Lifted * August 28, 2008 - The Burn Ban for Cooke County and thus at RRMT, Inc. has now been lifted! However, due to dry and hot conditions, please still use caution when grilling and having campfires.


RRMT, Inc. Members Required To Show Member ID Cards Upon Check-In * August 26, 2008 - Effective August 29, 2008...RRMT, Inc. Members will be required to present their RRMT, Inc. Membership Card as well as a second form of picture id (unless RRMT, Inc. park staff can verify your identity) upon sign-in at the park office.

Prior to this, RRMT, Inc. had been lenient on requiring member identification; however, unfortunately due to a recent case of membership misuse of the card, now there will be LIMITED EXCEPTIONS! The only exceptions will be: (1) If park staff can verify your identity with or without some second form of identification or (2) If you are an individual that just recently signed up for a membership and have not received your membership card yet...please tell us upon arrival. RRMT, Inc. obtains a list of all memberships still in the que and waiting to be processed. Until we can get your membership card issued to you, please feel free to use a second form of ID upon check-in & tell us who you are.

If absolutely NO form of ID can be presented, you will be required to pay visitor prices! Furthermore, at anytime that RRMT, Inc. Owners, Management, or Staff suspect that you are misrepresenting yourself as a member, RRMT, Inc. reserves the right to refuse admission to anyone. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding. By having your RRMT, Inc. Member ID card out and ready to present upon check-in at the park office, the process of being signed in can be expedited!

Burn Ban In Effect * July 28, 2008 - Due to hot weather and extremely dry conditions, a burn ban is now in effect for Cooke County & thus at RRMT, Inc.


Pro-Rated 2008 Membership Prices as of July 1, 2008 * June 28, 2008 - With the calendar year flying by....as of July 1, 2008, only half of the year will be left to enjoy a RRMT, Inc. Membership as all of our memberships expire on December 31 of each calendar year. With that being said, if you were ever considering a membership, now is the time to do so. While you can still buy a membership now until July 1 at regular price, as of July 1, all of our membership packages become pro-rated. Please see page 23 of our Member-Visitor 2008 Benefit Document on our website for more details. But here are the pro-rated prices in summary:

* Adventurer Member Pass (regular price $50.00 - valid for 1 adult, 18 years of age and older) --- As of July 1...is offered for $25.00 and is valid thru December 31, 2008.

Bill's Woods & New Property * January 17, 2008 - Over the past couple of weeks, we have been receiving various compliments as well as complaints regarding RRMT, Inc.'s opening of Bill’s Woods. First and foremost, Bill’s Woods is a motorcycle only property! No ifs, ands, or buts about it. It always has been and always will be. While we have had Bill’s Woods open the past couple of weekends since the first of the year, many motorcycle riders have enjoyed riding in there & we appreciate your compliments on allowing you to do so. It is a very unique property and we enjoy being able to allow you to ride in there a few times a year as well as during special events. However, at the same time, while we have opened it for motorcycles exclusively, due to the only 1 current entrance into this property, ATVs have been getting in there. Thus, effective now, RRMT, Inc. has had to close off Bill’s Woods from everyone at this time until some long-term remedy can be reached. Our main goal is to preserve this particular property (due to its heavily wooded & tight terrain) for motorcycle riding only & in order to do this, we would appreciate everyone’s patience & understanding.

Similarly, the new property that RRMT, Inc. has recently acquired is also a motorcycle only property! Much like Bill’s Woods, it too is very unique & no ATVs will be allowed in there at any time. This property will be used for special motorcycle events (again due to its heavily wooded & tight terrain) only and then possibly also be open (at the discretion of park management) a couple of times a year for motorcycle riding only. But at this time, this property too is closed off until some long-term remedy can be reached to keep recreational vehicles beside motorcycles out of this unique property as well.

More Problems At RRMT, Inc. * November 12, 2007 - Over the weekend, we experienced an issue where one of our clientele disrespected the RRMT, Inc. facility and its current amenities. (In fact, the incident was so disgusting that we have chosen not to elaborate any further on it) In light of that...it should come as no surprise that in 2008...all of the NEW amenities we are planning will be for MEMBERS ONLY! We feel that only members, who have a vested interest in our park will take care of the new features that we will be bringing to RRMT, Inc. Furthermore, if you are planning on becoming a MEMBER in 2008, not only will we expect you to respect our facility, but we will also hold you accountable for reporting those (whether they be other members or visitors) that continue to disobey the rules at our unique, one-of-a-kind facility. Current Problems At RRMT, Inc. * September 16, 2007 - For a while now over the past months, several problems at RRMT, Inc. have come to surface. The first issue is that fire pits that are currently provided at the park at various camp sites are being used as trash bins. Please note that these are FIRE PITS ONLY to be used for camp fires and not a place to dispose of your trash. Furthermore, at the park office, we provide FREE TRASH BAGS so there should be no excuse for everyone to be able to bag their own trash and then dispose of it in the dumpsters when exiting the premises. We encourage everyone to respect the property and realize that it is truly a privilege to be able to ride and camp at our facility. In light of this announcement, it is our sincere hope that the trash and fire pit problems will be solved. Lastly, another problem that we have been made aware of is that our customers are not obeying the rules which clearly state "No Glass Containers" on the park premises. Therefore, please follow the rules and abide by the park rule of NO GLASS CONTAINERS out of respect for the park and the safety of others in the cases of broken glass everywhere. We truly love providing a place for those of you that love riding RED RIVER, but we encourage all of you to take responsibility for your actions and help preserve a great riding area.

RRMT, Inc.'s Large Pavilion Gets Upgraded With New Features * August 25, 2007 - RRMT, Inc.'s Large Pavilion was upgraded today with two new features. Now in the large pavilion, there are 3 outdoor fans as well as lights. Currently there is no electricity at the large pavilion, but those with generators can plug into the large pavilion to run the fans and lights. Reminder...the large pavilion is for RENT only & cannot be used unless it has been rented thru the park office. With these new features, the pavilion is gaining in popularity...be sure to book the pavilion in advance...holidays as well as other popular weekends are going FAST! We are very excited to announce that we will be able to provide our customers with that service very soon. The entire facility is currenty being GPS mapped. As you can imagine, this will take some time in order to map all the trails at RRMT, Inc. Thus we ask for your patience. It will well be worth the wait. Once the mapping is completed, details will be forthcoming on where and how you can get a RRMT, Inc. Trail Map.


Dirtbike/ATV/Recreational Vehicle Rentals * RRMT, Inc. does NOT provide any recreational vehicle rentals. We only provide the property where those with recreational vehicles may come, ride, camp, and enjoy the facility. RRMT, Inc. does NOT ENDORSE, SPONSOR, or PARTNER with any recreational vehicle rental companies. However, there are many rental companies in the DFW metroplex area and if you looking to rent a recreational vehicle whether it be for a vacation, a corporate event, etc., there are many companies that can accommodate your needs. Once you get (or rent) your recreational vehicle, we look forward to having you visit our facility.


Many Items NOW For Sale At RRMT, Inc. Park Office * As of July 1, 2007, the park office is now carrying a wide variety of items for sale for our customers' convenience. If you forget something or run out of something while visiting our park, no problem. Come to the park office and let us assist you. The menu of items we now carry is too extensive to list, but a sampling of items are: Drinks, Limited Food Items, Ice, Charcoal, BBQ Grills, Sunblock, Bug Spray, Spark Plugs, Oil, Tire Sealer, Napkins, Paper towels, etc. etc. We have all your riding and camping supplies. Also, don't forget that we have RRMT, Inc. Merchandise for sale as well...get your koozies, t-shirts, as well as caps.

RRMT, Inc. Launches New Trail/Weather Blog * On June 26, 2007, RRMT, Inc. launched a new trail/weather blog for its customers' convenience. This will allow riders to check the weather and trail conditions prior to coming out to the park. RRMT, Inc. Considering Becoming a Membership-Based Facility * As many of you may know, we have been considering becoming a membership-based facility for many months now. Much to our surprise, we have been overwhelmed with a tremendous response from the general public regarding the issue...many FOR the idea and similarly, many AGAINST the idea. For now, the issue is still being considered. We still welcome any and all responses or comments on the issue. Please let us know your comments via email.

Pavilion Rental Available * When riding/camping, want a pavilion to get out of the weather? Small covered pavilions are available free of charge on a first come, first serve basis. But are you thinking about having a big get together at RRMT? Rent our NEW large pavilion for the special event. One large pavilion is now available for rental. The pavilion can be rented thru the park office for $25 (per day), $50 (for a normal weekend), or $75 (for a holiday weekend).

In honor of that, if you are celebrating a birthday on either a Saturday or Sunday, provide valid proof at the park office and you ride FREE on the day of your birthday!
