ATTENTION: Your favorite riding park, RRMT, Inc. has recently become threatened by an EOG sand mine going in next door! At this time however, EOG has not obtained an air quality permit yet though the state of Texas in order to operate. Do you want to help save the quality of life in Bulcher? If so, Bulcher, Texas could use your help. Act fast...deadline for complaint letters to the TCEQ has been extended so there is ample time to submit a letter for those that would like to.

EOG Resources Inc., has applied to the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) for issuance of Air Quality Permit Number 95412, which would authorize construction of a bulk sand handling facility at the Cooke County Sand Pit located at 14596 North FM 373, Saint Jo, Cooke County, Texas 76265. The facility will emit the following contaminants: organic compounds, nitrogen oxides, sulfur dioxide, carbon monoxide and particulate matter including particulate matter with diameters of 10 microns or less and 2.5 microns or less.

A blog has been set up that contains extensive information regarding this sand mine project. PLEASE GO TO THIS LINK & READ & VIEW PICTURES! This site that has been set up contains valuable info & will help you get in the loop on how the quality of life in BULCHER is in danger! Trinity Aquifer Blog

The sand mine is hard to see from FM 373 (all you can see is cleared trees & big piles of dirt)...but you can sure see it via air. Some aerial photos of the sand mine have been obtained & can be viewed below or click here for all of the pictures.

You want to help? There is still time. EOG has NOT been granted an air quality permit yet! (And thus, they cannot operate without a permit). However, their permit is pending...depending on complaints from concerned individuals that will be affected by this facility (aka...RRMT, Inc. customers for example).  You may submit a letter online electronically or handwritten to the state. If you would like more information on submitting a letter, email or call us and we can provide you with more information. We welcome all calls & emails to our park office.

If you were curious many people are VERY VERY concerned about the DANGER & HARMFUL RISKS of this sand mine facility & have already complained. You can view the complaints received so far online at the following link:
