* BURN BAN LIFTED *
Due to the recent moisture we have received at the park, while it hasn't been a whole lot, it has been some (and it has helped tremendously)...We are LIFTING the Burn Ban at RRMT, Inc. However, as always, please still use extreme caution (especially with these winds) with campfires & outdoor grilling at the park. Please supervise your campfire & grilling activities!

A BURN BAN is still in effect in Cooke County & thus at RRMT, Inc. This burn ban is strictly enforced at RRMT, Inc.

With a burn ban in place, individuals planning to visit our park need to plan accordingly. You will want to bring a grill with a lid and if you want to have a campfire, visit your local Home Depot, Lowe’s, etc. and get you one of those fire pits that have a mesh screen over it. Since a burn ban is in effect, there cannot be any open flames…everything must have a lid. NO EXCEPTIONS!

One question that might be asked...Can you have a fire (campfire or grill) in our fire rings (that are at the park) during a burn ban? The answer is "NO" because there are no lids on those fire rings, thus those fire rings are not to be used during a burn ban. Hence the reason we advise you to think ahead & encourage you to purchase something with a lid/cover to use during times like this when a burn ban is in effect at our park.
