July 12, 2012 Preliminary Hearing Update: EOG's proposed industrial sand mine & processing plant in Bulcher, located right next to our recreational park, RRMT, Inc.
* Jurisdiction was established by the two SOAH judges that will be presiding over the case.
* The parties were established in the case.
* Trial date is set for April 15-19, 2013!
* We learned that it is very possible that the trial, which is usually conducted in Austin, may end up being held locally. The SOAH judges will be making a decision on the location of the trial in the near future. Also, it could be possible that the trial will be in split locations...part of it held in Austin and then the other part of it held in our county during that designated April week. At this point, we just don’t know. However, we will let everyone know when we know.
