The Public Meeting will consist of two parts...an Informal Discussion Period & a Formal Comment Period. During the Informal Discussion Period, the public will be encouraged to ask questions of the applicant and TCEQ staff concerning the permit application. However, the comments & questions submitted orally during the Informal Discussion Period will NOT BE CONSIDERED or factored into the TCEQ's decision. On the other hand, during the Formal Comment Period, members of the public may state their formal comments orally into the OFFICIAL RECORD. ALL FORMAL COMMENTS WILL BE CONSIDERED before a decision is reached on the permit application. Only relevant & material issues raised during the Formal Comment Period can be considered if a contested case hearing is granted on this permit application.
RRMT, Inc. ENCOURAGES YOU as a PARK CUSTOMER to ATTEND this public meeting on August 23 at 7 p.m. Come prepared to ask questions during the Informal Discussion Period. But most importantly, we encourage PARK CUSTOMERS to SPEAK during the Formal Comment Period as statements during this specific part of the public meeting will be factored into the TCEQ's decision regarding this air quality permit. RRMT, Inc. needs your SUPPORT & it is MUCH APPRECIATED! Remember: YOU as a PARK CUSTOMER will ultimately be affected if EOG is granted this air quality permit for its sand mine.
